KFC Is Promoting Lilith

The Diablo games have been around since January 1997. Back then, people did not accept the game’s openly satanic themes and stories. However, as we fast forward to modern times, we see that things like the occult, satanism, witchcraft, and radical gender ideas have become mainstream. So much so that KFC is now embracing a demon known as Lilith.

In fact, these ideas are so widely accepted in the U.S. that even KFC (the well-known fast food chain) feels confident enough to team up with Activision-Blizzard to promote a Lilith demon–a creature mentioned in Isaiah 34 associated with the night.

The theme of the game Diablo IV is The Lilith Demon Returns. In this game, a player uses any of the 5 (Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Rogue, or Sorcerer) characters and customizes them to fight her.

The Truth About Lilith

1. Lilith is not just a fictional character but a demon

In Jewish mythology, Lilith is a supernatural figure associated with darkness, demons, and seduction. According to this belief, she was the first wife of Adam, who refused to submit to him.

The Babylon Talmud text refers to her as a female demon who is associated with causing harm to newborn infants and pregnant women. In fact, across different cultures and mythologies, she is portrayed as a demoness who preys on newborn children and seduces men (Isaiah 34:14).

Some English translations use the term “Lilith” (CEB, LEB, NRSV), while others translate using the terms “screech owl” (KJV), “night creature” (NKJV), “night bird” (ESV), or “night monster(s)” (TLB, NASB).

Lilith is an unclean demon that haunts people in the dreams of the night and visions of the day.

She appeals to men in the likeness of women and to women in the likeness of men. She attacks people in the sexual and reproductive areas.

2. Spiritual warfare is not a game

The spiritual world is real, and evil and good exist. We are in a cosmic conflict between Satan’s will and God’s will. Satan, demons, and evil people have their will, and they are responsible for their will. Only God’s power defeats evil.

3. You can’t defeat demons with demons

Demons are removed by the Holy Spirit (Matthew 12:28), in the name of Jesus (Mark 16:17).

And, the Bible makes it clear that they are cast out of people (Matthew 8:16; 9:33; 10:1; 10:8; 12:28; Mark 1:34; 1:39; 3:15; 6:13; 16:9; 16:17; Luke 13:32). We cannot win against Lilith through sorcery, physical violence, or by playing a game.

If you truly want to defeat Lilith, get saved, be filled with the Spirit, enlist in God’s army, and begin to cast out demons.

Memorizing Scripture is not just for leaders, it is a part of our discipleship as Christians. Each believer should make it a habit to not just live in God's Word, but to have God's Word live inside of them.
