Our Team Was at Ground Zero
Shortly after the flood hit Kerrville, Texas on July 4th, our charity director Julie, along with her teammate Deborah from HungryGen, went to ground zero to witness the devastation firsthand. What they found was worse than anything reported.

Entire neighborhoods were completely wiped out. Trees, vehicles, and layers of thick mud were tangled into piles of debris. Some homes were buried. Others were so thoroughly destroyed that even their foundations were gone. In many places, all that remained were scattered pieces of lives, broken wood, metal, personal items, thrown across empty lots where houses once stood.
Your Support Is Making a Difference
While national attention has moved on, you haven’t. So many of you have given, prayed, and reached out and it’s making a real difference.
The media is showing one side of the story, but the reality on the ground is far more devastating. The level of destruction and the scale of need are much greater than what most people have seen or heard.

Because of your support, we’ve already been able to:
- Send direct financial help to families
- Provide tools, food, and basic necessities through local volunteers
- Partner with Pastor Brian Ayala and Xtreme Harvest Church in San Antonio, who are serving boots-on-the-ground daily
- Donate a trailer to help transport supplies and equipment into areas with limited access
More importantly, we remain focused on directly helping the families and neighborhoods hit the hardest, coming alongside them as they begin to clean up, rebuild, and recover one day at a time.

But the Work Isn’t Finished
Many survivors have yet to receive help. Some were offered just $50 vouchers, while standing on top of what used to be their homes. Entire communities remain overwhelmed, and in some cases, untouched.
Volunteer numbers have dropped. People are tired. But the need continues.
How You Can Help
If you’re in Texas, or able to travel, your help is needed. Volunteers are serving daily, but more hands are still needed in the days and weeks ahead. If you’d like to join a team, please reach out to our partners on the ground through Pastor Brian Ayala’s ministry at [email protected].
If you can’t go yourself, keep praying. Pray for peace over grieving families, strength for exhausted teams, and favor over every effort to rebuild.
And if you’re able to give, your donation still matters deeply. Every dollar goes to fuel, gear, food, and direct support for families. This is not filtered through bureaucracy, it goes straight to the people who need it.
