Giving Tuesday: A Year of Impact and an Invitation to Make a Difference

Giving Tuesday is a time when many people choose to give, but for us at VSM it is also a moment to pause, reflect, and thank God for all He has done this year. As we look back, one of the greatest joys of 2025 has been watching the gospel reach millions and, at the same time, seeing generosity transform families, villages, and entire communities around the world.

Before anything else, I want to share one story with you because it captures the heart behind VSM.

Recently, VSM helped provide a permanent water source for an unreached community in Tanzania. For generations, families walked nearly 4 kilometers up and down a mountain just to gather water for the day. After the installation was completed, more than 600 people now have access to clean running water. One woman stood out to me. She is 90 years old and has lived in that village her entire life. When she saw the water flowing, she said, “This is the first time in my life that water has ever come to me.”

Impact That Opens Hearts

Now something incredible is happening. A village that once kept its distance from Christianity has opened its heart to hear the gospel. Their physical needs were met, and now their spiritual hunger is growing. Moments like this remind me why VSM exists. We reach millions spiritually, but we also show the love of Jesus in practical and tangible ways. Meeting needs is not separate from the gospel. It prepares the soil for the gospel. 1. Spiritual Impact Across the Globe

This year I have been especially grateful to see how many people encountered the gospel through VSM’s online platforms. Digital ministry has truly become a mission field, and 2025 reminded me again that God can use a screen to reach hearts all over the world. These numbers carry real lives behind them:

This number represents people who are hungry for God’s presence and truth. Each view is a moment where someone paused and allowed the message of Jesus to touch their life.

2,500,000+ subscribers.

These are not just numbers. They are individuals who stay connected, pray with us, and grow with this ministry week after week.

161,000 students in Vlad School.

Seeing so many people invest their time into studying Scripture, strengthening their faith, and committing to discipleship has been one of the greatest joys of this year.

500,000+ free resources downloaded in 25 languages.

Being able to give away discipleship tools, books, and teaching materials at no cost is something I am committed to. This is possible because of your generosity.

2. Humanitarian and Missions Impact Through VSM Charity

Alongside the teaching, prayer, and discipleship work of VSM, our charity branch continues supporting families in some of the most vulnerable places around the world. Nearly a quarter of a million dollars has come in to directly help with missions and humanitarian needs in 2025. What you are reading here is only a fraction of what is being done. This work is ongoing, and your generosity has allowed us to respond to crises, strengthen long-term projects, and bring hope where it is needed the most. VSM Charity operates with a two-fold mission:

We serve in consistent, practical ways month after month, and we also step in when unexpected emergencies strike, such as war, fires, hurricanes, earthquakes, and severe flooding.

Here are some of the places your giving made a real difference this year:

Tanzania

This year VSM helped bring clean, running water to an unreached Muslim community where more than 600 people now have access to water every day. A community once closed to the gospel has now opened its heart to receive prayer and hear about Jesus. We also provide monthly support for medical needs, food, and essentials as situations arise, helping build trust and open the door for long-term ministry.

Jamaica and Cuba

After devastating storms destroyed homes and displaced families, VSM partnered with a trusted local ministry in Jamaica to help rebuild houses for single mothers who lost everything. These women no longer have to live in unsafe conditions or be separated from their children. Your giving is helping restore stability, safety, and hope in a very real way.

Guatemala

Weekly feeding programs for children continue. Widows and families receive ongoing care, along with water filters, stoves, and practical support that sustains them month after month.

Ukraine and Poland

Even as the war continues, VSM Charity has remained committed to supporting churches and ministries on the ground. Your giving has helped provide food, clothing, heating supplies, and essential resources to families walking through unimaginable hardship.

Vietnam

Each month we support a rice cart outreach that feeds families and provides jobs for local believers. This program meets physical needs while creating opportunities to share the gospel. We also helped with flood relief in the region, supplying emergency aid to affected communities.

Myanmar

VSM helped provide relief after a destructive earthquake and continues to support a children’s home caring for orphaned and vulnerable kids. We also assist ministries serving impoverished communities with food, care, and consistent outreach.

Pakistan

This year VSM responded to severe flooding by providing food and emergency supplies to families in crisis. Your generosity made it possible for communities affected by disaster to receive practical help and encouragement.

Other Global Missions Work

Beyond these areas, we continue ongoing support for ministries in Colombia, Brazil, Zambia, and other nations where local churches work faithfully to reach their communities and meet practical needs.

Humanitarian work does not end when the headlines fade. It requires steady compassion, steady support, and steady faithfulness. Thank you for helping us remain present all year long and for allowing us to be the hands and feet of Jesus in so many places.

These are expressions of the gospel.
