A family of eight in Romania now has a new, safe, and clean home! This project is one of the first we’ve collaborated on with the VSM Charity department, and we’re excited to see it come to completion. Thanks to this partnership, we were able to help provide much better living conditions for this family who had been enduring unimaginable hardship. 

This family had been living in extremely unsanitary conditions, lacking basic necessities such as electricity, and an indoor bathroom. Their home was infested with fleas and was unsafe, especially for the newborn baby in the family.

In partnership with a local minister, we helped provide necessities which were needed to build the new home. This included construction materials like wood for the roof, concrete, bricks, adhesives, roofing sheets, and screws, labor for the workers, fuel to transport materials, construction tools, and more. We also supported the family with food during the construction process to ensure they had everything they needed. 

Despite many challenges during this building process, we are finally seeing it come to completion!
