A Life in Darkness

Coltyn, a pipefitter and welder from Edmonton, Alberta, had what many would consider a blessed life—a fiancée he met in high school, a beautiful son, and a stable career. But beneath the surface, his life spiraled into darkness when his relationship fell apart.

“A few years ago, my fiancée and I went through a three-year separation. During that time, I struggled with sin, addiction, recreational drugs, and deep regret. My choices led me down a dark path, one filled with shame and despair. I found myself entangled in destructive habits, feeling lost and hopeless.”

In his search for hope, Coltyn stumbled upon Pastor Vlad’s teachings on deliverance. The messages struck a deep chord in his soul, revealing a way out of the torment he had accepted as his reality. “I started hearing voices—mocking, tormenting, and harassing me day and night. These voices knew my every thought, my every memory, and they used them against me. At first, I believed it was some kind of technological interference, a government mind-control experiment like V2K (Voice to Skull), or even a virus affecting my devices. But as time went on, the reality became undeniable—this was something far more sinister.”

For six agonizing months, Coltyn lived under relentless spiritual assault. The voices mocked his prayers, echoed his thoughts, and deprived him of rest. Every logical explanation he sought crumbled under the weight of the supernatural reality he faced. Fear gripped his life, but God had already set his deliverance in motion.

The Power of Prayer and Deliverance

In his desperation, Coltyn turned to his fiancée’s parents, who were involved in deliverance ministry. He had reached his breaking point, and with nowhere else to turn, he submitted himself to prayer.

“They laid hands on me and prayed fervently, rebuking whatever had taken hold of my life. As they prayed, something incredible happened. I heard a male and female voice inside of me—the male refused to enter the house, but the female screamed in agony as the prayers continued. I could feel her presence rising from within me, resisting but ultimately being forced out of my mouth. As the demons emerged, a female voice screamed through my lips. Tears streamed down my face as I experienced the power of God delivering me in that very moment.”

The torment that had gripped him for months shattered in an instant. But the greatest moment of all came after the deliverance.

A Vision of Jesus

As the darkness fled, Coltyn received a vision—one that would forever mark his life.

“After the deliverance, I was left in awe. I had a vision of Jesus standing before me, a massive figure of pure white radiance. He simply looked at me, and in that moment, I knew—I was free.”

The voices were gone. The weight of addiction and despair lifted. The next morning, the cravings that had controlled him vanished. Coltyn transformed his heart and decided to forge a new path for himself by following Jesus.

A New Life in Christ

Coltyn’s testimony does not end with deliverance—it begins there. He restored his relationship with his fiancée, and together they built a home centered on Christ. He fully dedicated himself to the Lord through re-baptism. The man who had once lived in darkness now walks in the light of Jesus.

“Since that day, my life has changed completely. My fiancée and I reconciled, and we have been walking this journey of faith together. We attend church, pray, and study the Bible as a family. Every aspect of my life is now centered around Jesus, and I no longer desire the things of the world.”

Hope for Those in Bondage

Coltyn shares his testimony as a beacon of hope for those battling unseen forces. He is living proof that Jesus is not just a name in a book—He is a Savior who sets the captives free. Spiritual warfare is real, but so is deliverance. And for those who call upon His name, Jesus will always answer.

“If you are struggling, do not be afraid to seek help. Surround yourself with believers, pray fervently, and trust that God will guide you through. No matter how dark your situation seems, there is hope in Jesus. He never abandons us, and He is always willing to restore what was lost.”
