Amazon River, Brazil
In the Amazon rainforest, many communities face extreme poverty, often overlooked by the government. This is why our partnership with Hope Ministries in Castanhal, Brazil is so crucial.
Hope Ministries reaches out to river communities including Alegre Vamos, Bujaru, Sao Lopes, and others, using a medical boat for healthcare while sharing the Gospel and delivering supplies. Recently, we provided 60 food baskets, each feeding a family of five for a week.
Soup Kitchen
We supported a soup kitchen for the community on the same day the medical boat served them, ensuring that the community was fed. All the missionaries who served on the boat were also provided with food for the duration of their trip.Â
Children’s Home project in Bujaru
We are also so excited to announce our partnership with Hope Ministries on a significant project: the construction of a children’s home in Bujaru! This region currently lacks a facility to support displaced children, and this home will be a huge impact on the community.
The home is currently under construction, but to see this home completed, we need to raise $35,000.
These funds will cover the expenses for:
- Furniture
- Doors
- Windows
- All kitchen supplies
- All bathroom supplies
- Tiles
- Ceilings
- Plaster
- Paint
The local government donated the land to this project, and many others have contributed to make the foundational portions to be completed, but they need our help to continue and finish this home!
Come alongside us to help complete this project!
