Battling Knee Pain: Lorraine’s Journey to Finding Healing and Hope

For months, Lorraine struggled with severe knee pain in her left leg, which affected her both physically and emotionally. Despite her strong connection with the Lord, Lorraine began to question the possibility of divine healing. She candidly shared,

“I have been walking with the Lord my whole life; I accepted the Lord when I was eight. I have been close to the Lord but had not even considered that God could heal me.”

Seeking Medical Help

Lorraine had been dealing with a challenging health issue. Despite seeking medical assistance and undergoing various tests and therapies, her condition hadn’t improved. The doctor’s report revealed that she had osteoarthritis in her left knee, which had significantly impacted her daily life. Walking up and down the stairs caused sharp pain, and she struggled to transition from sitting to standing. The lateral side of her knee was often swollen, and she couldn’t put weight on her left leg. The doctors initially suggested knee replacement, but first, they tried physical therapy, which unfortunately didn’t provide the expected improvement even after months of treatment.

Subsequently, Lorraine was referred to a physical therapist, who observed that she couldn’t straighten her knee without experiencing intense pain running up her leg. This made everyday activities, such as walking upstairs, extremely challenging for her. The pain had even affected her ability to engage in her role as an elder and worship team member at her church, preventing her from walking up the stairs to the podium to speak, pray, or sing. It had been a tough journey for Lorraine as she navigated this health issue.

Little did she know that although she had given up on the idea of healing, God had not given up on her. During that time, she discovered Pastor Vlad’s teachings on YouTube, leading her to explore the concept of deliverance, she explained,

“I was listening to Pastor Vlad on YouTube and was looking into things about the Holy Spirit. I ran across the topic of deliverance, and I didn’t know what that was. So I started listening to him, learning, and growing in believing that God could heal me through deliverance in many ways.”

The Dark Spirit of Lameness Exposed: A Miraculous Turnaround

However, the turning point in Lorraine’s journey occurred on June 15th, 2023. That day Lorraine experienced an unexpected moment of prayer and healing in her kitchen while watching Pastor Vlad’s video on deliverance. She recalled,

“I was watching a video of Pastor Vlad talking about deliverance. I found his message interesting and particularly intrigued when he started praying at the end of the video. He invited viewers to pray with him if they needed deliverance. I joined in and prayed for my leg to heal. During the prayer, Pastor Vlad said, ‘There is a dark spirit of lameness,’ I realized that that was holding me back from fulfilling God’s will in my life. And so I started praying against that spirit of lameness and asked the Lord to bind it and remove it from me.”

As she followed the instructions from Pastor Vlad to pray, she rested her hand on her leg. Suddenly, she felt an unexpected, but comforting, warmth and a gentle tingling sensation coursing through her hand. Lorraine described,

“When I heard Pastor Vlad say, ‘Put your hand where it hurts,’ and I put my hand on my leg, my hand got warm and tingly.”

Transformation and Healing

Following the prayer, Lorraine was instantly healed and regained her ability to walk and move without pain and discomfort. She joyfully shared,

“After the prayer, I could walk up and down stairs in my kitchen! I went to the physical therapist and told him God had healed me. He looked at me in a strange way, but when he took my measurements for my leg, my leg could go straight. My physiotherapist was speechless. I could walk easily, and he had no answer for it! I give all the praise and glory to the Lord.”

This miraculous healing marked a significant milestone in Lorraine’s life:

“I had this knee pain for six months before June 15th. When I prayed in my kitchen that the Lord bound the unclean spirit of lameness, He did and immediately freed me from that spirit. I have had no pain since.”

Life Forever Changed

Lorraine’s divine appointment with the Holy Spirit on the day of her healing marked a new level of relationship with the Lord. Her miraculous healing opened her understanding to the unlimited power of God and deepened her desire for Him. She testified,

“Ever since God healed me, I have felt a strong connection to the Holy Spirit and have been growing in the power of the Lord Jesus Christ. I now speak in tongues during my prayers and feel a deep connection with the Holy Spirit. I am thankful to the Lord for freeing me from bondage, healing my lameness, and removing the influence of dark spirits from my life. All the glory goes to the Lord for the transformation in my life.”
