Your Support Is Changing Lives: Meet Terry and Denise

Your generosity is making a powerful impact, and we want to introduce you to two people who are leading that change on the frontlines. For the past two years, missionaries Terry and Denise have faithfully served in Zambia. They reach and raise up the next generation by ministering to students in colleges and high schools.

Though it’s just the two of them, Terry and Denise minister to about 400 youth each week, feeding them both physically and spiritually. Because the students lack transportation, Terry and Denise personally bus them in, an incredible act of love and commitment

Their home has become a hub for ministry. In fact, they recently had to move from their small apartment into a larger house simply because they’d outgrown the space. Dozens of students regularly come over to receive mentorship, love, and discipleship, and their lives are being transformed as a result.

Many of the students Terry and Denise serve come from broken homes. They often grow up without a father figure and experience abuse, neglect, and a lack of love. Because no one has truly cared for them, they’ve never learned how to care for others. Terry and Denise are intentionally working to change that. They’re speaking truth, showing love, and helping these young people develop a new mindset and spiritual identity rooted in Christ

Powerful Testimony of the Impact Made

One particularly powerful story is of a young man who had nearly given up on life. Just two months ago, he encountered Jesus through this ministry. Since then, he’s experienced a transformation, and even saw what he once thought was an impossible dream come true: learning to play the keyboard.

Terry and Denise regularly send us videos filled with joyful, smiling students whose lives are being transformed. We are honored to partner with a ministry that’s actively making a real and lasting impact, raising up young people who will go on to influence their families, communities, and future generations.
