My Generational Curses Were the Cause of My Shingles

Shingles – A Harsh Reality

Shingles – for some, it’s merely a term heard in passing during a TV commercial, but for others, it’s a harsh reality that disrupts their lives. This painful condition is caused by the reactivation of the varicella-zoster virus, the same virus that causes chickenpox. It can result in a painful rash and is known to cause intense discomfort. Shingles typically affects older adults but can also occur in people with weakened immune systems. This condition doesn’t go without proper medical help. Treating shingles can be difficult, and antiviral medications may be required to help manage the symptoms and reduce the duration of the illness. Therefore, Belinda had been experiencing excruciating pain in her chest and shoulders for more than a month before Pastor Vlad’s message touched her with the power of God that Friday evening.

The Message That Resonated

In March 2024, Pastor Vlad delivered an inspiring message at the Call to Conquer in Texas Friday evening service, focusing on breaking bloodline curses. At the beginning of his message, Pastor Vlad boldly declared,

“Tonight I believe the Lord will break strongholds, and the Lord is going to bring freedom and healing to people, in Jesus’ name.”

Indeed, the Holy Spirit spoke directly to one woman, Belinda, during Pastor Vlad’s message. What you are about to read will truly showcase God’s goodness and mercy.

Belinda’s experience

Belinda’s experience at the Call to Conquer service in Texas was a profound intersection of physical and spiritual healing. Her initial quest in joining the conference was to receive deliverance from the generational curses she believed existed in her family. She thought she went there to obtain only a specific thing, but the Lord, in His mercy, knows our hearts and all our needs.

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” (Ephesians 3:20)

As Pastor Vlad was preaching, the Holy Spirit was ministering to the hearts and bodies of the people.

“During Pastor Vlad’s message, about 20 minutes in, something remarkable happened to me,” Belinda recounted. I had been enduring shingles for over a month, and the pain was excruciating, spreading from my chest to my shoulder.”

Seeking Freedom

Despite her physical pain, Belinda’s purpose for attending the service went beyond her body’s discomfort to the depths of her soul.

“Although I was sick, I came seeking deliverance from mental strongholds and generational curses,” she explained. “I never anticipated physical healing.”

A Pivotal Moment

As Pastor Vlad continued preaching, Belinda’s sweating intensified, causing her discomfort and self-consciousness. She explains that as she was merely listening to the word of God, without anyone laying hands on her, she started experiencing the deliverance power of God. The fire of God began to dispel the darkness lingering over her life. However, as the Holy Spirit was busy working in her, Belinda felt tempted to leave the conference. The Holy Spirit had exposed the cause of sickness in her life and darkness could not hide anymore. She described,

“I felt something shift in the atmosphere. I felt the heat, I started sweating, and I was tempted to leave, but something compelled me to stay.”

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” (John 1:5)

However, amidst the warfare, God supernaturally strengthened her to persevere. Then came a pivotal moment after the message, during the mass prayer of renunciation.

“The Holy Spirit spoke through Pastor Vlad, addressing exactly what I needed to hear; I began speaking in tongues during the prayer session and renouncing generational strongholds. Then, I felt an overwhelming power coming over me as Pastor Vlad prayed for physical healing,” she described.

Spiritual and physical healing

As Belinda prayed, she received a touch of Heaven. She explained that she felt a powerful heat flowing through her body, and started sweating heavily during the service, followed by an overwhelming sensation of power and a sudden coolness enveloping her as Pastor Vlad prayed for physical healing. This resulted in the complete disappearance of the shingles rash, leaving nothing but dried skin and a scar.

“As I was praying, I started feeling an intense heat surging through my body, and I began sweating profusely. I knew God had touched me, and I was healed,” she exclaimed. “I checked my shoulder and chest where the shingles had been, and there was nothing but dried skin. No lesions, just a scar.”

Belinda’s healing experience was not just physical but also a manifestation of spiritual freedom, as she felt liberated from mental strongholds and generational curses.

Manifestation of freedom

Belinda saw her physical healing as proof of the deliverance she had received.

“The Lord not only healed my body but also freed me from strongholds and curses,” she affirmed. This healing is evidence of His power and promise of freedom.

“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” (John 8:36)

Belinda finished her testimony by thanking God for her healing, and Pastor Vlad.

“Thank You, Jesus, for my healing, and thank you, Pastor Vlad, for allowing the Lord to work through you. I am truly blessed because of your obedience to share His blessings.” Amen!

Belinda’s testimony highlights the potential for experiencing miraculous healing and deliverance in the presence of God. It reminds us that by placing ourselves, by faith, under the anointing of God, we can achieve both miraculous healing and spiritual freedom.
